it [i]is[/i] the "Wotlk-Belt of Blasting". Solid amounts of Hit, nice spellpower and haste, and 2x gems slot for personalization (Mandatory to add another one throu BS!) With stats as a "bonus" And it is BOE

A[i] true[/i] BOB replica wouldn't bother with stamina and would heap more dps in there. That said, this is likely to be a solid upgrade for many casters considering the cloth materials can be farmed in advance of the patch with only the Runed Orbs unattainable at this point.

I think times of Items without any Kind of stats is over, therefore a decent amount of stam and int is nice. Gladly it has no Spirit :D What i really like about this Item is the blue socket with a perfect socket bonus, with bs socket you can activate your meta gem with just this item. perfect

Deathchill Cloak really only lasted until you got the Pennant Cloak in OS 2D. Even then, some people prefer Cloak of Luminosity to Deathchill, even though Deathchill has better stats.

Right, it "really only lasted" until you got the best in slot caster cloak in 3.0? That's actually saying something.

Definitely looks like it will be a best in slot item for mages, possibly for all specs, if not, at least for TTW/Fireball. Will also most likely also be good for other caster classes as well.

When I saw this had 2 sockets I nearly soiled my pants. Though for Jewelcrafters the blue socket may pose a problem depending on other gear, it may not be one of the best choices to put a Runed Dragon's Eye in, and it may be a better DPS option to ignore the socket bonus, but we'll see.

Hopefully Runed Orbs, probably Nether Vortexes 2.0, wont be hard to get.

And yes, sadly, I believe the days of Belt of Blasting and Translucent Spellthread Necklace are over (with the exception of quest greens i.e. Wand of Blinding Light).

this belt will be far superior to Heedless Magic. A little haste drop but a gain of 35 SP.

Any idea if the PATTERN itself is BoP or BoE?

it doesnt say "Binds when picked up" so i assume its a boe pattern, but it will take a long time before you see it in the AH

Normally if the item is BoE then the pattern will be BoP. If the item is BoP then the pattern is BoE. Not every pattern drop in an instance is like that but that is generally the case.

BoE pattern that makes BoE item. The pattern is confirmed as BoE, as my guild has looted, banked, and distributed it.

Well a pattern cant actually be BoE, since, you know, you cant "E" a pattern :P it just doesnt bind...

Actually, Leash of Heedless Magic is still better for an arcane mage according to Rawr (unless you can use the spellhit). 323 dps for sash vs 345 dps for leash Seems to be a pretty low drop rate, haven't seen one on my server yet...

The first four mats are easy to find. But if you buy 6 runed orbs, it is so expensive to tailor.

BiS for any raiding warlock, awesome belt with good stats and 3 sockets with a belt buckle. Farming for it right now.

With the emblem change coming in patch 3.2, the runed orbs that are needed will be able to be farmed in a matter of days. There will be no excuse for anyone to not have this belt unless a better one that is easier to obtain comes along.

fail, some realms will have not so many tailors with this patterns, due to their crap drop rate + abnormal price

Abnormal price? Low drop rate on content many are not doing + best in slot = going to be expensive. If you buy the mats and pay a worst case thousand for the crafting it'll still come out under 5k on most servers in 3.2. That's [i]cheap[/i] for a BiS piece and unlikely it'll actually cost that much anyway. It's probably worth it at 10k. [edit] Was a reply to a post now downrated out
