This is the last Blacksmith recipe I need. I have ran firelands for over 2 years and scoured the auction house and have not seen it. I know its not that rare. I have just been very unlucky. Collecting all the world drop recipes from BC was by far the toughest. Plus the plans for the wicked mithril blade.
Finally got the recipe and I now have 100% of all in game recipes per Ackis recipe list. I am surprised this recipe would be my last one just due to the fact that it is not that rare of a recipe. I paid 999 gold on area 52 horde side server.

So, I picked this up during a Firelands farm. Today it sold for 100,000gold on my server. Selling patterns and transmog pays off if you have patience.
Yes these are made with exactly the same ingredients as [item=69968 domain=www] which give melee damage stats instead of caster stats. Apparently 525 blacksmiths are so skilled, they can make completely different items with exactly the same materials! Oh but at item level 378 they can only make gloves and boots...still trying to figure out how to make the rest of your armor. More great role playing detail from Blizzard, the masters of watering down fantasy for the mass market!
