Suppose people ought to know, so here it comes.
The sewer trash in BT takes about 5-10 minutes to clear for most classes, and as long as you don't kill the first boss, you can reset the trash indefinitely(but only 5 instances per hour, check out the addon SavedInstances if you would like to track these).
A single clear can produce anywhere from 2-5 primals(20-50 motes, these are what drop), and is easily farmable for however many you may need. Any of the water elementals in the sewers may drop them, but killing all of the trash is advisable as many valuable things can drop.
I have compiled a mini guide which is useful for pasteing into addons sucks as nIce Papyrus (notepad type addon for easy reading)
