Fixing original post because the drop rate has decreased considerably for think hides in Wyrmbog. Incendosaurs located in Searing Gorge cave at 49.0, 45.0. They “drop” rugged leather, thick hides, and scales. The best place to go is the hinterlands. Head to the coast and go for the saltwater snap jaws. They drop Big-Mouth clams for meat and black pearls, turtle meat sells well on the AH, and, if you’re a horde, you have easy access via Revantusk Village
That's because it's just an area in Dustwallow Marsh. It's in the south east of that zone where the entrance to [zone=2159] is.
Haven't searched too many places yet, but I all the ones listed below from long-forgotten patches are no longer relevant with the re-scaling of the old world.
Best I've found so far is going to Golakka Hot Springs-Un'Goro Crater and farming the [npc=9164] and [npc=6503]. Dropped 5 hides for me in just one clear; so either I'm extremely lucky or this is a somewhat decent spot.
