Note that Wildvine does not appear on its own. It has a chance of appearing when gathering from Purple Lotus.
This needs to be at the top now IMO. As of the Shattering, the old ways to get wildvine are gone. From what I've seen and read so far, it's still available as a drop from certain trolls, and can still be harvested with purple lotus. The trolls are the Skullsplitter trolls, located in the south part of Northern Stranglethorn, east and southeast of Fort Livingston (the Ruins of Zul'Mamwe, and the two smaller ruins nearby). The drop rate is depressingly low -- finding four in an hour wouldn't surprise me, I cleared that whole area three times and never saw one. And so far, the only place where
So after sometime of farming in Felwood w/ 406 herbing & flight form I have managed to get this count with no one else herbing as well:

(11) WildvineWildvine drop is horrid that's for sure, so for anyone who needs these for armor, you'll be at it for a while. AH on my server rarely has any, so have no choice but to pick.
I use the Gatherer Addon, to help track the spawning areas, which consists of only 5 spots. Ruins of Constellas can spawn up to 4 plants if u give it time.
