Aqir Invasion Guide: Schedule, Affixes and Rewards in Patch 12.1.5
Aqir Invasions run 10 minutes every hour in Eversong Woods or Zul'Aman. Here is how the event works, all 8 combat affixes, and the new Aqir Research Enclave reputation.
Aqir Invasions are the new outdoor event in Patch 12.1.5. The aqir surface in Eversong Woods or Zul'Aman for 10 minutes every hour. Each invasion is a chain of public events that ends in a boss fight. The more objectives your group completes before the 10-minute window closes, the more you earn.

How an invasion works
- Watch the clock. An invasion is live for 10 minutes of each hour, in one of the 2 zones. Be in the zone when it starts, because travel time eats your window.
- Clear scenarios. Each invasion draws from 6 scenario types, 3 combat-focused and 3 non-combat. The non-combat ones mean a healer or a gatherer still pulls their weight.
- Kill the boss. The series ends in a boss fight.
- Speed is the reward. Rewards scale with the number of objectives finished inside the window. A group that splits across objectives gets more done than one that stacks on each event.
The 8 combat affixes
Combat scenarios can roll one of 8 affixes:
- Void Protection
- Aqir Burrower
- Void Sphere
- Astalor's Anguish
- Swarms!
- Aqir Elites
- Void Infestation
- Web Weavers
The Aqir Research Enclave
The 12.1.5 build adds a new reputation, the Aqir Research Enclave. It is a group of Silvermoon paladins studying the aqir threat, filed under the Silvermoon Court. It is a long grind. Exalted sits at 42,000 reputation from Neutral.
| Standing | Reputation from Neutral |
|---|---|
| Friendly | 3,000 |
| Honored | 9,000 |
| Revered | 21,000 |
| Exalted | 42,000 |
Collectibles
Estelia Archtender in Silvermoon City sells the new aqir collectibles:
- Battle pets: Aqir Scuttler, Aqir Wingreaver and Aqir Razorwing
- Toy:
Curse of the Aqir, which lasts 20 seconds
Tips
- Check the zone before the hour turns. Eversong and Zul'Aman are a flight apart, and the window is only 10 minutes.
- Split your group across objectives. More objectives finished means better rewards.
- Bring a gatherer or healer for the non-combat scenarios. Half the scenario types do not need damage.
