Verify the live source before planning a Midnight collection

Midnight records need careful version checks because the catalogue can include observations from different patches. Start at the named collectible and compare its source with the live game. A newly observed database record is not by itself evidence of a newly obtainable reward.

Choose the collection type before spending resources. For housing decor, inspect the exact item and purchase requirement. For a mount or toy, follow the stated source. For a pet, inspect the recorded ability list if combat matters to you; collecting a companion does not automatically make it a battle-team choice.

When a source names Eversong Woods or Silvermoon, use the Midnight location and guide context. Older versions of these places also exist in game history, so a familiar map or material name can send you to the wrong content.

Plan a small set of targets with confirmed access, and check seasonal or event availability before travel. After a patch, revisit source requirements before repeating an old route. Record what you actually obtained rather than treating the catalogue’s record count as a count of currently available rewards.

Choose your collection goal

Midnight records in this catalogue, with the first check for each goal. Counts describe this database’s coverage, not everything obtainable in the game.
CollectionRecordsBefore you start
Mounts69Check the exact source and restrictions before planning attempts for a mount. A journal entry can outlive a promotion or event.
Toys33Open the toy item and read its use restrictions. Owning a toy and being able to use it on the current character are separate checks.
Battle Pets51Check the acquisition source and recorded abilities. Collection membership does not establish that a pet can battle.
Transmog526Inspect the individual appearances in a set. The set name alone does not establish which pieces you are missing or where each drops.
Housing Decor2,527Inspect the decor item, source and any listed purchase requirements before planning a room around it.
Titles33Start with the granting achievement or other recorded source. Read the full requirement before assuming a title unlocks from one activity.
Item Sets18Compare the pieces and set bonuses with your goal. Collecting a set appearance and equipping its gameplay bonuses are different tasks.

How this guide is built

Every collectible below is a first-party TheWoWDB database record, not a handwritten list. The 3,257 collectibles come from client build 12.1.5.70448. When a newer build is datamined, additions and removals land here automatically. Source lines are the game's own facts (drop, vendor, quest, and so on). We do not invent drop rates, map coordinates, or prerequisite chains the datamine does not record.
