This is a good polearm, I suggest farming in wetlands, head to the coords 48,18, if your within level or higher go ahead and pick up "The Dark Iron War (Elite)" from the dwarves from behind the convoy (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=303). Continue to farm the polearm from there, youll get good silver and silk drops for "in level range" players, Remeber to directly target Dark Iron Riflemen (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=6523) After a few hours I had one drop. Great "Twink" weapon, but also great for hunters/warriors. Goodluck!

This suggestion for farming Bloodpike is extremely inaccurate, if you consider the fact that this weapon is a world drop and nothing else. You may find this drop from any mob at this level range throughout the entire world, and besides, i would only recommend this weapon for a warrior or a paladin, seeing to it that hunters rarely go in melee and this proc is even more rare than a crit.

this is a world drop so farming would be rather pointless. it's also hardly a twink weapon compared to something like Corpsemaker (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6687).

don't you think that if you're gonna compare two weapons as far as "twink" weapons go, you'd at least try to find something within the same group?

I got this on my warrior lvl 24, not good at all really, got some crits at 130++, but i am really looking forward for my corpsemaker :)

I just looted this off a Dun Garok Mountaineer. These mobs used to be elites, but after 2.3 were changed to regular mobs with the same loot tables as when they were elite it seems. If you want to try to farm them you may try there since they have dropped 9 times now. I made alot of gold today off this area because the twink Thorbia's Gauntlets dropped, and 3 Humbert's Helms in about an hour.

The proc on this polearm makes it better for long fights, since it does its chance-on-hit damage equally over 30 seconds. Against a mob that you'd kill in less than 30 seconds, you'd only see a fraction of the potential damage tick when this procs (and that's assuming you get the proc on your first swing). (And if it takes you much longer than 30 seconds to kill something non-elite that's around your level at 23, you'd be better off spending your gold on several greens, rather than one mediocre blue.) Overall, this polearm's got fairly decent speed and damage, but a lackluster proc. Go for something with passive stats, or a proc that does instant damage, instead.

Just got one from one of those non elites that spawn after Herod in the SM armoury

Alot of people seem to undervalue these on the Auction House, so if you are looking for a high DPS weapon with a low budget, give this a search. [On several servers I looked at, Bloodpike was only 1 gold more expensive than standard greens for its level]

Just dropped off of a Pesterhide Snarler in Thousand Needles. Very nice weapon for this level, in my opinion.

Very good for a low levels who want to have big dagmed attack. With a enchating at low lvl it's looks good.

Looted one from a Young Panther in Stranglethorne. I think it would be best against bosses in long fights.

5% proc chance

I just got one out of a chest in Raven Hill cemetery... hope it sells well as my warlock can't use it.
