There is a Spellpower sword for casters, there is a DPS sword for DW DK, Rogues and Hunters who prefer DW to 2-handed, there are 2 two-handed swords for DK, Retribution, Warriors, and the such....
WHY THE HELL THERE IS NOT A TANK SWORD? Seriously, what do Blizzard has against tanks regarding cool items or lore items? Last one we got was ThunderFury and was only useful for tanks because of its proc. It was an aggro sword, rather than a defense sword, but since then... Quel'Serrar is the only one in TWO FREAKING EXPANSIONS and there is no effort in getting it, just drop from a raid boss.

I you look her: http://ptr.wowhead.com/?quest=24795 there are rewards for people who can't use swords. it's just a different quest only available to those that can't use swords.
Druids, Shaman, and Priests are also screwed over by this quests since they can't even use swords.They really aren't. Perhaps some research in the future? Alternate Rewards
