Taking advantage of the Chosen of the Sun King buff you get from Blessed Sunstones scattered around Uldum during the Amathet Assaults as well as the Might of the Sun "debuff" you get from various enemies around the area, I was able to get 2,350 XP in one go with my Yu'gaz.
I grinded the mobs around 73, 73, which has the advantages of: high mob density, relatively quick respawn rates, usually ignored by other players, many mobs give you the Might of the Sun "debuff," and there a couple Blessed Sunstones that appear around the building in the south. I probably could've gotten higher XP than I did had I not diverted to grab a rare for a couple minutes.
Keep in mind that I did this on my guardian druid, so the debuff doesn't really have the drawback of killing me; I'm not sure if this is still the case with non-tank classes.
Don't go into any Consuming Maw event. The hatchling followed me in, but it did not come out and I lost the buff with 7 minutes remaining. =/

Description
In observing the aqir battling the Wastewanders, I have seen the newly hatched immediately join the aqiri assault. It would seem the need for combat is born into these creatures. We should exercise this in our new hatchling, under your supervision of course. Take him out with you and show him how to fight our enemies. He may not be able to fight for long, so don't call him until you're ready for training. With luck, he will come to see us as part of his hive.
