TheWoWDBI spent agonizing months waiting for one daily to complete the Securing Draenor achievement. I had no idea, you could do that manually through Scouting Missives. I am hoping this posts helps save some of you some time and agony.
Sergeant Crowler (A) and Sergeant Grimjaw (H) in your garrison sells the Scouting Missives. They are picked up as a quest items, and upon completion, turned in to Scout Valdez (A) or Shadow Hunter Ukambe (H), next to your daily mission table.
Also: you can complete a missive, even if you have already completed the daily from your garrison table for that day. I did Pillars of Fate (table) and then Iron Siegeworks (missive), back to back.

Just so everyone knows if you buy the missives from the guy at your garrison it will count towards the achievement, i also needed this one to complete my achievement and it was not avaliable for that day so i tested the theory and i got the acheivement
