Attunement to Dalaran (Alliance)

Attunement to Dalaran is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Welcome, mage.

By now you must be wondering where Dalaran is and how to get there. I will help you.

But before I can teach you how to teleport to our great city, you must attune yourself to the ley lines of Northrend. Otherwise, you risk destroying yourself in the process.

Take this attunement crystal and use it in the pit under the surge needle at the Moonrest Gardens to the west. Then you will be ready to learn the spell.

Moonrest Gardens is South-West of Star's Rest (not quite to the coast, but almost). There, you will see a large beam of purple light shining from the bottom of a pit energized by a dozen Surge Needle Sorcerers.
Fight your way down to the bottom (level 71-72 mobs) and kill Arcanimus (level 73 elemental non-elite, arcane-resistant) at the bottom of the beam.
Go right under the beam where Arcanimus was and use the Ley Line Attunement Crystal (you have to be exactly under the beam).
Return to Archmage Modera at Stars' Rest and enjoy your port to Dalaran (and 7.38g).

The Center of the Pit is: 20.04, 59.65. Kill Archanimus first, and you're good to go. And go means: use the crystal.
