Basilisk Bucklers

Basilisk Bucklers is a quest for level 10-70. It rewards 1 reward item, 2 reputation rewards and 9,500 experience.

Description

Interlinked scales are the key to stopping an arrow. The bucklers we make are the best in the plains. However, I am short of basilisk hides for my next order.

I see you are interested in learning about our crafts. Gather basilisk hides from around the Dragon Isles, and I will give you instruction on our techniques.

I found the best spot to be /way The Waking Shores 69.16 52.21
There are loads of the different basilisk's to drop the hides, as havoc I can pull around 5/6 mobs in one group :)

There is only a really great spot to do this quest. Ohn'ahran Plains /way 78.44 37.11. There are multiple caves that have three spawns each of the mobs you need, some pacing the shoreline also. I also got 37 Basilisk Eggs for cooking while doing the quest and multiple types of leather. The respawn times were very quick.
