TheWoWDBFor this quest, you will head to south-central Vale to Mistfall Village. On the cliffs to the east of the village is the entrance. Once you get close to the axe, you will become cage in, and start a mini 'event' which has you killing approx 20 [npc=60297].
You are assisted by 2x healing runes and 1x DPS rune (grants the buff [npc=64928]). Simply kill the mobs that spawn over the course of about 5 minutes, then loot the axe.Make sure you don't leave the room when done, because you will be turning the quest in to the NPC in the same room!

this quest was bugged for me - some sort of phasing issue. I couldn't get past the fence in the Silent Sanctuary.
However, i was able to fly over the fence with mount. It's impossible to mount inside the Silent Sanctuary, you have to take advantage of late dismounting after you enter the room.
EDIT: there's invisible wall at entrance - fly very low to avoid it, and then immediately up over the fence
- thanks Eatrio, forgot to mention thisafter that i was able to loot the axe, and trial started when i got close to the fence.
Quest giver spawns inside the Silent Sanctuary after you pass this trial, so don't leave the room!

Description
The final artifact is the Thunder King's axe. Lei Shen charged into battle with his spear in one hand, and his axe in the other. It is said that he could throw his axe with brutal accuracy, and when it hit its target, it made a sound like crashing thunder. After his death, the axe was placed in a ceremonial chamber to the southwest. Needless to say, we must not let it fall into the mogu's hands.
