Blood Theory

Blood Theory is a quest for level 10-30 in Desolace. It is step 32 of 63 in the Desolace storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Desolace at 58.8, 46.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

The land is not all that has changed in Desolace. Here, the wildlife has responded to their new environment in strange and sometimes exciting ways.

I am particularly interested in the Rejuvenated Thunder Lizards that roam just to the west.

I need a sample of their blood.

You may begin helping me by using this jar of leeches on a few of them.

Once they've filled on the blood of those beasts, return them to me.

Quests like this is what still keep Desolace so desolate...

Avoid using any AoE attacks when killing the infested kodos. The leeches are targetable and have only 42 life; they'll die to your AoE attacks if they continue after the kodo has died. Also they seem to despawn as soon as another leech spawns, so you can only do one kodo at a time.

"The Cenarion Circle has worked hard to restore life to Desolace.

There are some kodo nearby that seem to be rejuvenated with newfound life!

...now throw these blood-sucking parasites onto the kodo, then slaughter the beasts."
