Description

With our best defenders defeated and the line broken, Arthas made quick work of Silvermoon's remaining forces and tore through the city. This is where we part ways. I must return to Silvermoon before Halduron starts sending rangers to search for me. The dragonhawk master in Fairbreeze Village has orders to fly you to Quel'Danas. Someone much more familiar with the events on the island will meet you there.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Day Hope DiedLevel 50-90

The Ranger-General fell just east of Fairbreeze Village, where she was holding the line to protect the civilians as they retreated to Silvermoon. If it wasn't for her, our people would number even less than we do now.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Setting SunLevel 50-90

Remember the Sunwell. We ride into battle with those words for a reason. We lost so much that day... I lost so much that day. Shine the lantern on the southern side of the island, where the Dead Scar meets the sea. There you will see how the fall of the Sunwell began.

The storyline at a glance

Blood Elf Heritage Armor has 10 steps, from The Pride of the Sin'dorei to The Fall of the Sunwell.
