Holy fsck this is a sh*tty bit of work.

For context, I have been playing since 2007, have 40500 achievement points and regularly use Wowhead - for example while doing this lorewalking chain. Even then, I kept running into trouble and had restart THREE times.

Bad Blizzard, no cookie.

Description

The blood elves of the Eastern Kingdoms have only taken up that name in recent years. Once, they were known as highborne, or high elves--but no more. Would that it were a pleasant tale, but in truth the name reflects upon those who have fallen and lost their lives... an unthinkable number. The blood elves, or sin'dorei, will never forget that loss. Let us remember them as well.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Long has the southern wall separated Quel'Thalas from the once great kingdom of Lordaeron. We did not believe that anyone could breach it. That overconfidence was our undoing. When the Scourge arrived, the gate was not conquered by force. It was willingly opened by a traitor.
