TheWoWDBOk, so much of this conversation just rubs me the wrong way.
Tyrande has every reason to be skeptical of Thalyssra. I mean, would they have any reason not to trust an elven magocrate? Azshara, Elisande, Tortheldrin, Kael'thas and perhaps even Dath'remar doesn't give it a great track record. Thalyssra should be aware of at least the first two, but takes it as a great offense when the night elves take the "let's wait and see" approach.
And then they call the night elves and the Alliance walled off, and chastise the night elves for "sleeping in barrows" while the sin'dorei supposedly fought for to save the world? The nightborne were literally sitting in a bubble for 10.000 years, and the high/blood elves (with the exception of the now scorned Alleria) have shown next to no interest in anything but their own borders until the end of the Sunstrider dynasty and them joining the Horde.
Finally Thalyssra is happy that the Horde allows the blood elves to maintain their traditions as opposed to the night elves who frown upon the powers they dabble in, mere minutes after Lor'themar exiles someone for the powers they dabble in. One has to assume it doesn't come down to openness, but to openness of their traditions.
