While the quest "The Huntresses" awards the initial owl, if you check your pet log, it says the the Sentinel Companion comes from the quest "Little Sister Lost." This makes this situation even more weird, as Alleria was the eldest sister of the Windrunners. But given that there is no way this is anything but a Night Elf that is searching for her, it would make sense on the note of a Night Elf considering a High Elf to be a 'Little Sister.'

Another personal suspicion I have always had is that Kadghar knows where Alleria and Turalyon went. He was with them on Draenor when they disappeared, there is no way that such high-profile characters would just vanish without Medivh's apprentice knowing where(or when!) they went.

But where is Alleria? I think it is safe to say that she has been here on AU Draenor, at some point. Is she dead? Was Turalyon with her? Was this the 'other world' that the Heroes went through to escape the exploding Draenor?

WoD's story has reached a whole new tier of possibilities, in my eyes. I am excited.

Hey, remember the suspicious loading screen hint from years ago that rarely popped up? "Nobody has seen Alleria or Turalyon for years!"

This 'Cowled Ranger' appears at your inn randomly as a daily dungeon quest giver, providing you have an inn in your garrison (Alliance). Whoever she is, she's definitely not a nobody! She has 16 million hp and a boss skull.

This could be Sylvanas as a cross-faction thing since there is a human in an orc mask at the Horde garrison inn. Also that the completion of her daily reveals she IS searching for Alleria from our timeline in hopes that the twisting nether brought her here, which would point to her being Sylvanas. Also with the 'Temporal Juxtaposition' quest that gives you the image of Archmage Vargoth as a follower indicates the possibility of crossing the worldly timelines.
