Description

I do not wish to come out of the shadows, but I mean you no harm. My purpose here is my own secret to keep, I simply needed a warm place to bed down for the night.

I can see that you are not the type to be easily swayed into leaving. Very well, perhaps you can aid me in my search.

I am looking for someone, it is not important who. All you need to know is that I will reward you for any sign of high elven weaponry that you should come across.

For anyone wondering what's going on in this quest, this is a night elf Sentinel (evidenced by the companion she gives away) looking for Alleria Windrunner. In the daily quest that follows after completing this quest (Fate of the Fallen), she explicitly says that she is looking for Alleria. The most likely explanation for who this could be is that it is General Shandris Feathermoon, leader of the Night Elf Sentinels. Her boss level status, night elven-ness, skin color, hair color/style, and tattoos under her eyes support this. The tattoos can slightly be seen under her cowl, and although her current in game model has them covered by a mask, she could be seen mask-less pre-Cataclysm.
