Since the information in order to get this recipe is spread out all over the place, here's a quick guide on how to get this recipe. This can be done by both Horde and Alliance.
First, travel to Sholazar Basin to the Nesingwary Base Camp, and talk to Debaar to get the quest Venture Co. Misadventure. Do the follow-up quest Wipe That Grin Off His Face from Debaar after.
Then, talk to Weslex Quickwrench and do the quest Need an Engine, Take an Engine. Do the follow-up quest Have a Part, Give a Part from Weslex Quickwrench after.
Next, talk to Hemet Nesingwary and do the quest line Rhino Mastery: The Test which includes Rhino Mastery: The Chase, An Offering for Soo-rahm, and The Bones of Nozronn.
After, talk to Buck Cantwell and start the quest line Dreadsaber Mastery: Becoming a Predator, Dreadsaber Mastery: Stalking the Prey, and Dreeadsaber Mastery: Ready to Pounce.
When that's done, you can talk to Grimbooze Thunderbrew, and get the quest line starting with Some Make Lemonade, Some Make Liquor. Following quests are Still At It and The Taste Test.
Finally, when you have all the quests complete, you can talk to a Washed Up Mage to get the Fletcher's Lost and Found quest. Just talk to the mage, complete the quest, and you've learned your recipe!
The recipe takes 2 Tundra Berries and 1 Savory Snowplum to make 5 Kungaloosh. An easy vendor to get both items from in Dalaran is Alred Copperworth, who is in The Violet Citadel. You can get to him by going upstairs into The Purple Parlor, which is the portal on the right hand side.
Enjoy your new drink, and an easy way to get your cooking up to 400 instead of all the farming for those pesky Great Feasts!
Sidenote: All the quests involved in attaining this recipe, except for Flecther's Lost and Found, count towards the Into the Basin achievement.
It's quite possible that this is named "Fletcher's Lost and Found" as a tribute to Fletcher Hodges, one of the main characters of the Adventurer's Club - the now-closed Walt Disney World nightclub. The Kungaloosh was the signature drink of the Adventurer's Club.
I stumbled upon this quest today. Remember the Washed-Up Mage in the Dalaran Sewer (Underbelly)?... Just go to him and you will automatically learn the Kungaloosh recipe. I think this is called "Lost and Found", because apparently, this recipe is one of the "lost" recipes, just like the Shoveltusk Soup and a couple of others I can't think of at this moment. I'm not sure if there is a level requirement, but I think this was added with the latest patch because I've been Lvl 80 for quite a while and today was the first time this quest was available for me.
