Just fly with your mount near a fire and if automaticly will be extuinguished! No extra button or whatsoever to complete. Just drone it!

Hagar: "Champion, the smell of smoke fills me with the same dread I felt on that terrible day." Followed up with dialogue in the next quest: "I do not know what losses you have experience, or what pain you carry".
Me, a night elf, also happen to be mounted on the Teldrassil hypogryph when turning the quest in: "I think we need to sit down and have a chat, lady."
I swear, blizz can be so incompetent with their writing, I don't see why night elves didn't have some kind of weigh-in on these quests. You know, the very race that lived in that tree and are directly related to the creation of world trees?
I am so sick of our characters being the fifth wheel in these quests, only the main story characters are recognized for doing great things. We just have to pick up everyone else's poop.

You will see fire spots on roots starting above Roof's house and top of mountains levels.
Lot of fire spots at the south of quest area.

Description

{name}, I see smoke rising above Har'mara. The roots are on fire--not here, but beneath the remnants of the tree! I have seen this happen many times, but we must always respond with haste. Take to the skies and douse them, immediately!

If we ever hope to see new growth, Teldrassil's roots needs a great deal of special attention. The source of this stream is one of the great roots. The water carries ash, which I believe still contains the tree's essence.

Thank you for tending to those fires, <name>. While you were gone, I've used that sludge to make a salve. Help me spread it over Teldrassil's roots. It may take years to see a difference, if we ever do. But though I failed, I made oaths to her, and I can still choose to keep them.
