What to do
Description
Before Dalaran crashed, I was a preeminent expert on gems. But I lost it all--gems, books, scrolls--like everyone else. Imagine my surprise when I learned of a creature named Basalteous that possesses knowledge of gems stretching back before the Sundering. I want that knowledge. I will do anything for it. But the rock-skinned yokels here won't tell me any more about Basalteous. Can you get the earthen to talk?

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

So, all they gave us was a location and a garbled riddle... But I guess we know where to start. I can picture it now. Once I have Basalteous's knowledge, I will have nobles and merchants lining up outside my house. No, my mansion! The earthen did say southwest, right?
