I am so close, I can feel it in my bones.
Place the cores next to each standing stone. It is time to summon Basalteous.

Look on the ground in front of the standing stones.
Now that was dark
Its carvings fresh and deep, this standing stone depicts a human woman. Her hand is outstretched as if trying to command Basalteous. Beside her is another figure resembling you.Eesh, that's actually kind of chilling. Her dialogue was so cartoonish that it was clear something bad was going to happen to her, but "being turned into a still-conscious standing stone for eons" wasn't on my bingo card. Makes the other standing stones in the cave more unnerving, too.

According to the earthen, we have to lure the spirit. Or disturb it. Or something. The four standing stones they mentioned have depleted elemental cores laying around them. There are igneous elementals outside and on the beach to the north. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Heart of Stone has 4 steps, from For The Love of Gems to Gems Are Forever.
Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Isle of Dorn (4).
