Happy as a Clam Digger

Happy as a Clam Digger is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-90. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 9,500 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

It seems like everyone I know loves clams, but I can't stand them! They're smelly and slimy, and harvesting them means digging through mud. Give me a fishing pole and some bait any day.

Still, I want to surprise my brother with a bucket of fresh clams. I'd reward you if you were willing to gather those clams for me.

Just go through the portal to Rut'theran Village and look for the clams in the shallows near the shore.

You can't have done any other daily fishing in another city. Just one daily per day, either in SW, IF or Darnassus

Despite this being a fishing quest, you don't have to fish. Just dive into the water and collect the clams.

These are everywhere in front of Ruth'theran Village! Too bad the Stormwind sugar isn't this abundant :(
Edit: In the water!
