This quest is for the Heroic mode, 25-person version of The Eye of Eternity.actually there is NO HEROIC MODE fellas, just 10 players or 25 mod, not 25 HC!
Hope it helps anyone confused by statement "HEROIC", its remaining of good ol' days when HC mode was available back in WotLK.

I have checked the logs for you on this, however I see you are on the HC version of the quest, and you completed a 25 man normal kill. So you need to kill the boss again on Heroic next reset.
Now this is resolved for you, please do not hesitate to contact us again if you need us for any other issue :)

It should be noted that, although this CAN be looted by anyone in the raid with the quest, it is my understanding that the quest itself is a followup to http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=13375, which itself starts from http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44577 - a quest item dropping off Sapphiron in Naxxramas (Heroic), which only one person per raid can loot.

Description
Now that you have access to the focusing iris it's time to put that key to use. As much as I would like to see Malygos brought back into the fold, that's just not going to happen at this point. With everything that's at stake, it is the judgment of the other Dragon Aspects that the Spell-Weaver needs to be put down. <Krasus says this last with a great deal of trepidation.> {name}, travel to the Eye of Eternity, confront Malygos and return with the Heart of Magic.
