TheWoWDBWhen you see Garona run off, don't attack her, follow her. Whilst she runs away, she drops little pools of felfire or poison (they appear as little green pools of poison), just follow her trail. These pools do have a certain lifespan, so if you don't see them, abandon the quest and start again, they will appear again.
Only attack Garona after you have 'Cornered Garona' in the cave.

Players that don't normally play with Sound on should turn it on for this quest. Garona has a few voice lines that don't show up as text. Nothing very important, but it's still neat nonetheless.
Also, when chasing Garona, don't forget that you can hit her as she runs away. As a Warrior, I was able to slow her with Hamstring and knock her back with Dragon Roar. She maintains her health when you corner her.
After capturing Garona it leads on to Touch of the Kirin-Tor

Description
The weapon that stabbed the archmage was imbued with fel magic. He's slowly being poisoned! {name}, we don't have any time. Khadgar will be dead in minutes. I need you to track down Garona before she gets away - find that murder weapon and maybe we can find a cure! Follow the traces of fel energy she left behind. Track her down into the Zangarra lowlands and capture her with this Violet Hold Incarceration rune. Hurry!
