Until the imp caves in the final Argus zone opens up, or the imps on Broken Shore, the best place I can think of to somewhat quickly complete this is the imp packs around 32 50 in Azsuna.

The fastest way to complete this is most likely in a couple Normal Dungeon runs. Black Rook Hold got me over 100/200 in one run and they go quick. Plus you can complete two researches at once if you have another dungeon Infinite Research quest too!
If your class can handle it (meaning good AoE) then i suggest The Arcway, and specifically the Unstable Amalgamation.
Every time you kill one it splits into 4 smaller ones. It does this twice. So in total it is 21 enemies per one Amalgamation.
And the beauty is that there are 4 as soon as you enter and three more around the corner to your right.
So, go in kill all seven (147 + a few rats + 2 Acidic Bile = ~155), go out and reset. Then go in kill 2/3 more and you are done in minutes.
I think by far the fastest way when, again, your class can handle it.Edit: fastest for me is: 4 blue + 1 green + 6 rats (on the right) + 4 withered (on the left) = 100. Reset and do it again.

Description
In order to better understand the power of both you and your artifact in this timeline we need to undertake some combat studies. It is like social studies, but with blunt force trauma. This will be a comprehensive study, so feel free to fight whatever you wish so that we can get a baseline understanding of your abilities. And remember, this is for the greater good.
