Ah yes, the old stay-in-the-circle escort quest.
"We need to be perfectly quiet and avoid a fight. Therefor I will talk the entire time and walk through every single mob's agro range, avoiding obviously less treacherous paths! And if you move more than 2 steps away I'll VANISH."
"We need to jump down here."
* jumps down 2 ledges at once instead of 1 *
MAW WALKER! WHERE HAVE YOU GONE! *NPC vanishes*
--round 2--
Maw walker! Thank you for saving me from these high level mobs that respawn every ten seconds!
I couldn't possibly thank you here. I'll meet you on the other side of this gauntlet of unrewarding high HP trash mobs that you can't possibly avoid drawing agro on.
Quest
Lead the Way
A World of Warcraft quest in Revendreth. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.

I got stuck on this quest because a player from the opposing faction tagged the two mobs at the end. This was incredibly frustrating because then the quest would not complete, instead he just stands there repeating "We need to keep moving, [playername]!" over and over.
I had to abandon it and do the whole sneak thing again. Make sure you tag those mobs as soon as you can!
While doing the Lead the way Venthyr quest chain and getting to the part where I must escort Emil, all goes well until the second jump down to the ground. Emil says “we must keep moving” and then freezes in place and his stealth effect breaks and many npcs attack and kill me. Once I didn’t even get a release button and had to log out to get my character back. I tried twice more to do the escort quest and the same freeze happened both times. Does anyone know if this is a bug or am I just missing something?

Description
We must move now. That won't be the last assassin we face. I can provide some cover of darkness, but mind that the spell is not infallible. Enough talking. The Curator needs us and my mirror shard to get to her as soon as possible.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Break Out
Our reinforcements never came, leaving us unable to tend to the souls here. They have begun to break out of their cells. Many of them are not ready for the next step in the process. Take these iron chains. They can be used to rein them under your control.

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

Mateo will have the other mirror shard we need to access the medallion. He is likely in my former manor in Archivam. It is guarded by Nourman, a loyal dredger. Nourman is ever committed to his duties, regardless of the situation.
