This is one of those things that annoys the hell out of me. I got the bell off a random mob, don't even remember which one. Turned it in, made a choice and then... nothing. Is there more? Will we get something later? It bugs me that since 2006, any complaint is usually followed by "read the quest". Well, as usual, Blizz has given us nothing to work with. What is this area for? Does it have an achievement? It would be nice if they actually put some instructions and help in the game when it comes to things like these, some hints or anything... but who am I kidding? If they haven't done it after all this time, they most likely never will.

Update 2/3/22: While this is super late into the expansion, I only just figured out what this quest was for. After completing it, you have a chance to loot [item=174674] (a very, very small chance, btw) which you then return to the crypt to do the same thing as the acquired quest item. There you will once again judge a soul and if you choose correctly, you will get a [item=174652] which has some shinies in it. It's too bad that there was nothing explaining this, but honestly the extreme low drop rate of both the quest item and the subsequent lootable items still makes this something not worth pursuing unless you are just wanting to see what it's about.

Description

This is a Bell of Remembrance. Before the recent... "events" we used them to beckon souls from the Crypt of the Forgotten to deem their fate. If they are less arrogant than they were before, they may continue in the process. If not, they must spend additional time in the crypt. Let's put this one to use, shall we? It's pretty beat up, let's hope we can get at least one use out of it.
