TheWoWDBAhem...here's some useful information about the quest: You can kill any of the robots in the scalding water area, right-mouse click the "Ultrsonic Screwdriver" in your inventory and the robot will be re-programmed. The really cool thing is, once the robot is repaired it follows you for a while, like a pet, and will do damage to things that attack you! And, the best part is that you can re-program ANY dead robot, even if you didn't kill it.

The screwdriver still works once you hit the 15, so I kept using it to have a small army of bots to fight Mechazod with. Didn't need them, but still fun!
Go Depeche Mode! Also you can use the screwdriver on robots that have already been slain by someone else! Appears that any of the mobile robots can be de-programmed (Scalding Pools area) 58.20 and vicinity

Description
The Ultrasonic Screwdriver is the ultimate tool. It can do anything to mechanical stuff! Head back into the pools and dismantle a number of Mechazod's robots. Then all you have to do is use the screwdriver on their remains, and I'm betting that they'll turn to our side, for a short time anyway. I'm pretty sure it won't work on the mechagnomes, so don't even bother with them. Oh, and if you want to take anything from the robot's insides, you'll want to do so before using the screwdriver!
