Quest Log

One fer the Ages

One fer the Ages is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-90. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 9,500 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

I'm sure by now ye've heard the tale o' Old Ironjaw, the most famous and elusive fish in the waters o' Ironforge's Forlorn Cavern. Well, in his many years, he's been responsible for the rise o' many young ironjaws. Don't let the name fool ye, <name>, these young'uns are every bit as clever as their dad, but somewhat lackin' in experience.

With skill an' patience, ye could probably catch one, an' when ye do, bring it to the museum in Ironforge's Library an' put it on display fer all to see!

Once you catch the Young Ironjaw in the pool at the Forlorn Caverns, take it to 71.10 just outside the Library proper. Should be a sparkling plaque there. Happy fishing!

[item=69932] is conveniently caught in the water of the Forlorn Cavern in Ironforge. This quest is a good fishing daily option when you are working on Old Ironjaw.

Directly before you enter the library proper, it is to the left - sparkling. Apparently after 3:00 a.m. is not a good time to try to find the thing.
