Preserving Freshness is a quest for level 10-35. It rewards 600 experience and money.
To preserve maximum freshness, cooking ingredients need to be stored properly. Fortunately, Merchant Cheng over there sells good containers. I hate to send you on such a menial errand, but would you go purchase an empty tiger meat basket for me?

in order to obtain this quest u will need at least 525 cooking but before u get to the quest you must complete:
-way of the grill
-way of the wok
-way of the pot
way of the steamer
-way of the oven
-way of the brew*this does not mean u have to get each of those to 600, just complete the little chainquest provided by the type of "way" teacher*
once u completed all of the above nam ironpaw should have the quest available for u to do
You can buy the Empty Raw Steak Container from Merchant Ku - as stated on the quest. He's located between Bobo Ironpaw, Master of the Brew and Anthea Ironpaw, Master of the Wok, at the Halfhill Market.
On the beta, the container costs 1g50s, but not sure if this will remain the same for live.
Edit: on the newest patch, the name of the merchant is now Merchant Cheng, but he's located at the same spot as before.
they changed the name on the NPC to merchant Cheng, >_>
