If you built the Telaari Tankworks, the [spell=160240] is great for the three hunting quests you get, since it lets you kill ~30 animals per Cooldown.
Those two quests, That Pounding Sound and Shooting the Breeze are not only part of rivalization between Rangari and SI:7, but also between two different approaches to this specific part of quest design - gathering things that come in pairs (or fours, or eights).
Both quests require 12 kills due to 100% drop rate. One of them requires 24 horns, and each mob drops 2. Other requires 12 pairs of ears, and again each mob drops one.
