You can do “Personal” crafting orders between your alts. Just make the “tip” price 1 silver (since 5% of your tip gets taken by the order service). Change the order time limit to 12 hours to lower the cost per order from 20g to 5g, so that’s 25g to complete this quest.
The alts have to be on the same server (or combined servers), and high enough level to get to the Dragon Isles hub and place crafting orders.
Turn in is at [npc=194026] (as of this writing, the question mark doesn’t show on the map).
/way #2112 35.6 59.0 Azley (quest turn-in)This quest is weekly. You do the orders at a Dragon Isles crafting table for the profession.
(Thanks to Wowhead user SharkROAR for pointing out that 12hrs = 5g price.)
HOW TO DO THIS BY YOURSELF, using your alt.
Here's my video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6pz-SI-v5I1. Log onto your alt to request the crafting order.
2. Take your alt to Valdrakken to the Crafting Order NPCs, coords 35,60. NPCs are: Clerk Silverpaw, Clerk Scaravelle, Head Clerk Mimzy Sprazzlerock.
3. Click one of the NPCs, to open the Crafting Order Window. Select Armor (in this case it's Tailoring, so select Cloth or an item that a Tailor can make such as Containers for bags, or do a search for items such as "fishing cap" or "chef's hat" to find accessories under Profession Equipment.
TIP #1: While on your crafter, in this example, Tailoring, check to see what you can already make, and have materials for to make this go quicker. You do not need to make it a skill-up item to complete the crafting orders quest. Simply a wildercloth fishing cap will do, even if it doesn't grant you a skill up.
TIP #2: Give yourself a crafting order on something you can resell on the Auction House, such as a Fishing Cap. Also, if you're also an Enchanter, any of these items being BoE can be sent in the mail back to yourself to Disenchant, so you aren't really losing much by making these pieces.
4. Once you have an item selected--"Fishing Cap", as an example, the item list will populate. The official names of the items will appear. Select one that you know your crafting character can create. In this example, "Wildercloth Fishing Cap", click it.
5. NEXT SCREEN - in the top right corner you will see a drop down that allows this to be an order put forth: Public Order, Guild Order, or Personal Order. Since you are doing this solo, select PERSONAL ORDER.
6. In the Field where it says "To:" type in your character name who is doing the crafting, that is on the crafting order quest.
7. Minimum Quality, it's okay to remain as 'None', since this is just to get the quest complete.
8. You must give yourself a commission to continue and post the order. Even 1 silver will suffice. It doesn't matter, since this is your money going back to you. The only fee for the order will be the posting fee of 20g. So for the crafting order quest to be complete, you must do this three times, making it a 60g quest you will have to spend on.
9. Log in to your crafting character. In this example, your Tailor who is on the crafting quest.
10. In Valdrakken, take your (tailoring) character to the tailoring work table at 31,67. Click the table (the cogwheel) to begin.
11. In the bottom, left corner, click the "Crafting Orders" tab.
12. Now, up top, there are three tabs: Public / Guild / Personal. You should see Personal has order(s) waiting for you. Click Personal.
13. You should see the item your alt posted. In our example the Wildercloth Fishing Cap. Click it.
14. Bottom left corner, select "Start Order".
15. Next screen, go to bottom right corner, and select "Create".
16. Once crafted, on next screen, bottom right corner select "Complete Order".
(You'll hear the clink of coins audio indicating that's it's completed.)17. Your quest should now indicate you have 1/3 orders. Repeat the process with your alt two more times to complete quest.
