Take Charge

Take Charge is a quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis. It is step 14 of 18 in the Forging a New Path storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zereth Mortis at 47.6, 80.3. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

That floating structure looming overhead is the Creation Catalyst.

I cannot get close to it. The tower is overloaded with an excess of Progenitor energy. To travel there now would be suicide.

There are consoles in the gardens that can be used to discharge that energy. Do so.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Unchecked GrowthZereth Mortis · Level 60

This growth energy is highly unusual. I would like to know more about how it affects the local automa. Harvest replicating essence from deceased automa in the Catalyst Gardens. Bring it back to me for study.

After this quest

  • Herbal RemediesZereth Mortis · Level 60

Using the roots you collected, I have crafted a concoction that, in theory, will cause the plants to revert to their natural state. Hurl vials of this remedy at the lashers of the Catalyst Gardens. If it works, wonderful! If not, you will need to deal with them more directly, by killing them.
