The "followup" for this quest is from completing the side quest quest you pickup from a drop off the Air Officers (Efficient Excavations). This starts another quest chain at Schnottz's Landing, the completion of which sends you to Sullah, who gives you a long quest chain ending in a quest sending you into the Halls of Origination.
