The missing Scythe of Elune returns. I'd wondered what really happened to the stupid thing.
The Scythe of Elune is a totem that can temporarily control the worgens. It was first used by Velinde Starsong to summon the worgens in the Emerald Nightmare to battle the demons in Felwood. This is the reason why the Forsaken wants it and why it invaded Gilneas after the wall was destroyed by Deathwing. History of the Scythe of Elune

What to do
Description
Ever since the Forsaken invaded Gilneas, we've tried to keep the location of the Scythe of Elune secret. We moved it at night to one of many safe locations. The Dark Rangers got close, but never found it... until now. They were last spotted at the Woods' End Cabin, west of here. Blow this horn when you find them and Tobias and his trackers will engage the Dark Rangers. Only then will it be safe for you to venture inside the cabin and take back the scythe. Hurry, {name}. It must not reach Sylvanas.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Preparations
What you know as the Curse began as a heresy among our brethren. Faced with a losing battle against demonic forces, the Druids of the Pack eschewed the balance they were sworn to and allowed the beast to overtake them.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Neither Human Nor Beast
It is time, <name>. This... alchemy that has kept the beast inside you at bay will not last for long. The first cursed worgen were night elf druids like our new allies. They, however, abandoned the balance that the rest of their kind embraced and allowed the beast to take over their minds.
