Once you have unlocked the Box of Many Things by completing The Box of Many Things, it is available in the Torghast antechamber, next to the Wayfinder.
in the Runecarver's Oubliette. It's on the left as you walk in the door. The Box of Many Things is a researchable talent tree which gives you permanent buffs in Torghast. In order to research the talents, you spend Tower Knowledge.
You earn Tower Knowledge by completing Torghast runs, and you earn more TK the better your score is for that run. You get a higher score in Torghast for completing the run faster, killing everything, looting chests, saving souls, breaking urns, etc.
You can see how much TK you have when you open the Box of Many Things on the upper right of the pane. Or you can check your TK balance any time in game by looking at the Currency tab of your Character Info screen (click your portrait in the lower right of your WoW screen, or by default press C to open Character Info).
You don't have to complete the run, you can leave and immediately go turn in to Runecarver.

What to do
Description
Ah, Maw Walker, of course. Soon I shall be undone, claimed by this place forever. But you continue to walk its halls, unbroken! It was my great aspiration to prevail with the help of this box. Sadly, I overestimated my own capabilities. I trust I am not overestimating yours. Take the box. Prove yourself worthy of it.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- In Darkness, Found
Cartel Ve has a reputation for creeping around dangerous places in search of treasure. If they had any sense, they would leave the acquisition and sale of goods to the Xy. Alas.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Tower Knowledge
The woven power of this box can only be unlocked by feeding it pride and memory. In its weave are incantations I have seen used in the other realms to siphon or condition a soul. This... abomination... has used these tools of redemption and honor to create a lock.

The Box of Many Things has 3 steps, from In Darkness, Found to Tower Knowledge.
