The Mysterious Seed is a quest for level 32-35. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.
A small, dried acorn has fallen out of the Flame Druid's robe.
Why would a Druid of the Flame be carrying it around?
Perhaps someone at Malfurion's Breach would like to see it.

Actually:
- you have to recruit The Shadow Wardens with the quest The Shadow Wardens;
- you have to kill Druid of the Flame near the core from quest Solar Core Destruction, not that one Druid of the Flame in a bird form. :)
- you have to look around of that druid's body and find Dried Acorn, accept the quest The Mysterious Seed and return it to Avrilla; she will unlock some new quest for you. :)
This is not a repeatable quest. Once you complete this quest, it unlocks 3 new lasher dailies (1 per day).

Some Like It HotOn my 2nd day, after unlocking the dailies for The Shadow Wardens, I spent a while killing Druids of the Flame, trying to get a Dried Acorn to drop again. I had to go read the guide to determine that it will not.
You most have the done the quest The Shadow Wardens First befor it will drop.
