TheWoWDBOkay how about some useful information: What are the coords to the pools of vision?
Edit: Found it. The pools are in a cave just below the spirit rise in TB. Coords for the entrance are 30.1,29.7. Got it 2nd cast, only had to skin it once. Then again my skinning is capped. Don't know if that makes a difference. Hope this helps!

To those confused like me, the "use" on the fish to filet it has a chance to fail. Keep trying, and eventually you'll either get the ring or a grey item.
On another note, make sure you have at least 2 spaces open in your inventory when you "use" the fish. Even when you get the ring, you get a grey with it, and if you only have 1 space you'll never get the ring (I realized this after opening up 60 cave fish... not fun)
Any of the pools in the Pools of Vision work.
I usually got a [item=69956] every two or three casts.
It took me 3 fish to finally get the ring, so about 7 casts.

One of the Forsaken from the Pools of Vision came to me and said he'd lost his ring to a blind cavefish in the waters there. Or perhaps it was his finger. It was hard to tell; his jaw did not move and his Orcish was no better than mine. In any case, I thought it would be a kind gesture towards our unusual visitors to catch and gut cavefish until the ring - or finger - was found. Would you help?
