This quest has a serious bug where the race will break if you use any dragonriding mount from dragon isles. the bird will refuse to respond to controls and instead only fly straight up. this is because this quest transforms your mount into the quest mount and the transform breaks on dragon riding mounts (but regular skyriding mounts that were converted after dragonflight work fine)
