Ongoing Activities

Ongoing Activities is a quest for level 80 in The Oasis. It is step 4 of 5 in The Oasis storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 75.9, 34.2. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

While you will be on assignments that befit your skill set, there are also additional tasks that need to be done in the Oasis on a regular basis.

While these are typically done by the custodians, if you are in the area I would not say no to your assistance with them. Now, and in the future.

For those that were confused as hell at the vague description of what plants you are actually suppose to water and spent way too long wandering around trying to water anything that looks like a plant. The ones you are looking for are the plants in the glass tubes with locks on them, south of the central part of the dome.

I agree this is one of the vague written quests blizzard has given us.

  2. Torn-up Earth - Interact with [object=516786] (piles of soil) /way #2371 72.49 34.76 Torn-up Earth

  4. Collect Data - Interact with [npc=233187] which walks between /way #2371 74.20 34.82 Collect Data and /way #2371 73.62 34.40 Collect Data

  6. Watering Jug - Interact with [object=516792] /way #2371 73.01 33.01 Watering Jug

  8. Use Watering jug to water plants - Use [item=236641] in or near the group of plants /way #2371 73.95 34.36 Water Plants

First I would go get the [item=236641] by interacting with [object=516792] then move on to interacting with [object=516786], I'd then water the plants by using [item=236641] and then interact with [npc=233187] near by.
Here's a macro to help spot him.

/stopmacro [dead][noexists]
/script SetRaidTarget("target", 8)

I hope this help in some way 😉

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Junk MailThe Oasis · Level 80

One final item before we begin--a special task suited to your unique capabilities. No, not killing. Flying. The Oasis requires donations. Donations come from advertising. Take these stacks of fliers and distribute them around Tazavesh.

  • Day One OrientationThe Oasis · Level 80

We've taken some of the native species we saved out of stasis. We will need to recreate their habitats. There are two primary species here, as well as this console to monitor species in the Oasis. I recommend acquainting yourself with these creatures before we begin.
