One of the quest to recover the 4 vrykul artefacts. In order to get this quest, you must have finished "Scoodles".

The staff is located at the end of the hold, but beware, Abdul the Insane guards the deck.

Once you have finish the 4 quests, Orfus gives you the final part of the quest chain : A Return to Resting.

Pwnt him as a level 71 warlock.... just dot him and keep channeling life to your void or felguard...

It takes over 2 minutes to kill him but its an easy fight

EDIT: when you beat him, be sure not to be so proud of yourself that you get on WoWhead and leave a comment saying how you solo'ed him immediately.... He respawns fast and can kill you if you are, say, typing out a comment on WoWhead.

Description

Those artifacts are cursed and you'd be crazy to go looking for them, {race}. I know for certain that anyone that's come into direct contact with any of those items has either gone mad or been killed. Take that staff, for example. Last I heard the ship that held it was abandoned and left to rot on the coast of the Isle of Spears, north of here. If you want that thing, check the ship's hold. Whatever you do, don't bring that staff back here! And steer clear of Abdul! He'll tear your heart out.
