This works against Vesharr, using cheap/easy-to-get pets.
1. Chrominius - Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing, Surge of Power
2. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling - Breath, Thunderbolt, Decoy
3. Carry / Elekk Plushie :3Start with your plushie/carry for one round, then swap in Chrominius against The Great Kaliri, and spam Arcane Explosion. I like to use Ancient Blessing around half HP, and continue spamming Arcane Explosion until Kaliri dies.
When Apexis Guardian comes out, switch to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, and immediately use Decoy to negate the Entangling Roots. Use Thunderbolt, then spam Breath until it dies. If your Dragonling dies, it's okay. Just finish it off with Chrominius.
When Darkwing comes out, it should be almost dead and an easy win!

His Chrominius + Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling strat. works perfectly. It needs up-votes so it can rise to the top, because three pet strats. aren't cutting it, anyone can come up with them... including me, I came up with several, but was having a tough time coming up with a Plushie worthy strat.
(Note: Although the Elekk Plushie doesn't have to enter into battle to get the achievement An Awfully Big Adventure, you still need a strategy that can completely "defeat" the opposing team with only two pets, because if they die, the plushie is literally useless in battle. I'm pretty sure you need to successfully kill the other team to get the credit for the achievement, and the plushie will die if your other two pets die before defeating the enemy team.)
Here's the pet levelling strategy I regularly use to defeat Vesharr:

Arcane Storm (with good RNG this will finish off Pet #3 [npc=87978])
