This quest was added in patch 4.03a on 24 Nov 2010 just prior to cataclysm.

The quest is obtainable from a wanted poster in Thelsamar at co-ordinates 37.31 46.49, and it's objective is to kill Gorick Guzzledraught.

Gorick can be found by heading to 40 57 and climbing the mountain path. If you are not using coordinates then stand facing the front of the wanted poster and the start of the path is a few hundred yards ahead to your eleven o'clock position.

Gorick is a level 12 non elite dwarf hiding in a cave, the entrance to which is at 37 62.

He has 494 health and has a respawn of less than two minutes.

Whilst there be sure to grab explorer's league document (1 of 6).

Once you have completed the quest head to Magistrate Bluntnose at 34 44 in Thelsamar to hand it in.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Thelsamar Blood SausagesLoch Modan · Level 5-30

There's never a shortage of empty bellies here in Thelsamar, kids running in and out, workers from the excavation coming in after a hard day's work. We're famous for our blood sausages, I don't suppose you've ever tried them? No?

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Tiny, Clever CommanderLoch Modan · Level 5-30

We've dealt with kobolds in these lands for years. Not much other than a nuisance. But they've been getting craftier at their stealing. I think one of them's ended up smarter than usual. Won't be that way for long, though!
