When You Give Bakar a Bone is a quest for level 10-70. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward and 9,500 experience.
I had some of the most beautiful bonewrought bows, but our bakar got to them before they could be put to use. Bakar love to chew bones, whether bow or not, and now they are ruined!
Can you aid me in crafting replacements?

You don't actually need to craft these. If your realm happens to have [item=193383] on the Auction House cheaper than it would be to craft it, you can just buy two and complete this quest.
I made a Bonewrought Crossbow, with a modifier so that it was a higher DPS and stats version. This didn't count towards the quest. Fine. Farmed some more materials, and made two more regular ones. These both counted towards the quest. When I submitted/completed the quest, the higher dps/stats one was one of the ones taken.
Unless you have a main/alt with Inscription, the hassle isn't worth it, nor is the expense of buying Runed Writhebark from the AH. Chances are you will also not fine the Bonewrought Crossbow on the AH as the cost to make isn't worth it.
Wish we didn't have crafted items that require another profession to make especially ones that can be time consuming/expensive to produce the reagents (especially when those reagents are better used elsewhere!).
