The dialogue on completion made me laugh:

"Well, she has been taken, but we shall never rest. Join me as my Follower, lead my troops, perform missions for me! Together we will find her!"

But note, that's not you asking him, it's him talking to you! It would be a better reward to not have him as your follower (then again, you never know - even he may become useful for something, quite what I've no idea!)
