Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Mageblood Elixir cost 25 gold89 silver. Most of that is Sorrowmoss - 2 at 9 gold44 silver each, 18 gold88 silver, 72.9% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 27 gold25 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 40 gold68 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 14 gold79 silver; the Auction House would keep 2 gold3 silver of a sale, leaving 12 gold75 silver. That is an estimated 49.3% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 13.8% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 305 units across 7 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
