Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Pounce cost 22 gold41 silver. Most of that is Rousing Earth - 2 at 4 gold90 silver each, 9 gold80 silver, 43.7% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 23 gold58 silver per craft, 11 gold79 silver per item at 2 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 25 gold, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 27 gold59 silver; the Auction House would keep 2 gold50 silver of a sale, leaving 25 gold9 silver. That is an estimated 112.0% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 9.1% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 36 units across 7 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
